I got this because my Ryobi orbital sander used sticy backed sanding discs. If the sanding pad was at all dusty before applying the discs they would eventually fall off. The hook & loop works much better. My only concern is that the hook & loop adapter that came with this backing pad is a sticky backed pad itself but it seems to be working very well so far.
Bought this primarily to convert my adhesive pad to hook & loop since I grabbed a bunch of h&l sandpaper on clearance. Couldn't find this at the Home Depot where I bought my sander, leave it to Amazon. Works great, excellent price and quick delivery.
GREAT PRICE. Who would have thought you could buy replacement pads for R.O.S.'s for under $4.00. They were at my door in 4 working days too. I love it.
This backer pad took my Orbital Sander from old, unusable to like new condtion. I bought more then one at this price. and I will wear them out before my sander burns out.Don't hesitate to bring your sander back to like new condition. Sharp edges again.Thanks;Herb
